Most of the path is not ours.

Terms of service usually describe a service someone runs. There is no server here to run. Between two people there is the software, and then there are other people's handsets, the radio conditions of the moment, and a public chain. The register below marks the boundary that the clauses then state in binding language.

The applicationOurs: The software itself, its cryptography, and the updates published for it.
This websiteOurs: These pages and the contact form, including the one cookie choice stored in your browser.
The meshNot ours: Other people's handsets carry your traffic. There is no network operated by anyone to guarantee.
DeliveryNot ours: Best effort by design. A message arrives when devices are in range, and may not arrive at all.
Your keysNot ours: The wallet is non-custodial. Keys are generated on the device and lost keys cannot be recovered.
ConfirmationNot ours: Settlement belongs to the Bitcoin network. No BitMadWall ledger exists to disagree with the chain.
Local lawNot ours: Compliance with the rules that apply where you are is yours, and radio conditions are nobody's.

Dashed rows sit outside the boundary. The clauses below are the binding statement of it.

The clauses that follow are the formal text, and where the two ever disagree the clauses govern. What the product does and does not hold about you is set out separately in the privacy policy.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use BitMadWall and this website lawfully. You are responsible for how you use the application, including compliance with the local regulations that apply to encryption, radio hardware (including LoRa), and digital assets in your jurisdiction.

Disclaimers

BitMadWall is provided as is. Mesh connectivity depends on the devices in range and on environmental conditions, and delivery is best effort. Bitcoin transactions remain unconfirmed until they are confirmed on chain. Tashi Technologies Corp (Pvt) Ltd does not custody your funds.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tashi Technologies Corp (Pvt) Ltd is not liable for undelivered messages, lost keys, delayed or failed Bitcoin broadcasts, or damages arising from network outages or loss of a device. Placeholder language: counsel will finalize caps and exclusions.

Governing Law

Governing law and venue will be specified by legal counsel before launch. This draft does not establish a jurisdiction.
